IP telephony is the technology that digitizes and transmits voice conversations across the IP and PSTN networks. IP Telephony also known as VoIP is a service that shares the same network infrastructure with data networks. Previously voice and data used two separate isolated networks which meant extra cost of equipment and resources. We offer two unique models for managed IP telephony service: Hosted - FASTtelco manages all hardware components of the solution installed at your office.
Centrex – FASTtelco manages all hardware components of the solution installed at our premises.
Product Details:
- Analog to Digital Conversion and compression algorithms
- Variable Standard Codec’s ITU-T G.711, G.729 and G.729a
- MGSP, H.323, SIP and SCCP (Depends on service Model Hosted/Centrex)
- RTP Real Time Transport Protocol
- Quality of Service (QoS)
Hosted:
- Soft switches, voice Gateway, PoE switches, Analog voice converters & IP Phones are installed at Customer Site
- Connectivity established between your office and FASTtelco over VPN links to obtain service from centrally implemented VoIP telephony platform
- Single converged network for voice and data services at your office utilizing PoE switches to provide necessary power for IP phones
- Main router installed at your office to provide necessary data connectivity and also operate as a voice gateway for additional regular PSTN lines
Centrex:
- Soft switch, voice Gateway, are installed and centrally managed at FASTtelco’s network operation center (NOC)
- Redundant voice Gateway (Optional), IP Gateway, PoE switches, Analog voice converters & IP Phones are installed and centrally managed at FASTtelco’s Data Center
- Connectivity established between your office and FASTtelco over private switched links to obtain service from centrally implemented VoIP and IP telephony platform at FASTtelco
- Single converged network for voice and data services at your office utilizing PoE switches to provide necessary power for IP phones
- IP gateway installed at your office to provide necessary data connectivity and also operate as a voice gateway for additional regular PSTN lines
